Anne-Roos is one of Holland’s upcoming jazz vocalists, carrying the timeless romance and elegance of classic jazz, paired with a warm, soulful sound and poetic storytelling in her lyrics.

In 2025, Anne-Roos graduated from the Conservatory of Codarts in Rotterdam with a 9.5. During her bachelor’s degree, she immersed herself in the jazz tradition by studying great vocalists such as Nancy Wilson, Jazzmeia Horn, and Samara Joy. Alongside her studies, she also started her own project, called Anne-Roos. With this project, she recorded an EP titled The Start of Something Big, which will be released in June 2026.

For Anne-Roos, the most important elements of music are passion and connection. Connecting with fellow musicians as well as with the people she sings for. Through her music, she shares her passion for staying true to yourself and doing what you do with full conviction. Her purpose is to inspire people to romanticize their lives and, in doing so, waste the little time they have on this earth doing what they love and what they hold dear to one’s heart.
